Since 'The Island That Didn't Exist' was published a number of schools across the UK have used the book in their classrooms and I've been thrilled to see the reaction.

Children in the county of Berkshire shortlisted it for their Book of The Year.

Berry Hill Primary School in Mansfield sent me some of  the brilliant handwritten reviews their children had produced. I include a selection below, this comment in particular made me beam,

'Once you start reading the first few pages you don't ever want to stop. LITERALLY!'
